I strive to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. Below is my policy regarding shipping, returns, refunds, care instructions and sales tax to ensure a smooth experience for all my customers.
When purchasing one of my products online—or any product online—it's important to keep in mind that the experience is different from shopping in person. While I try my best to provide detailed descriptions and clear images, you won’t be able to physically touch or see the product in person before it arrives. I understand this can be a bit of an inconvenience, but I do my best to ensure that the quality and craftsmanship of my pieces are accurately reflected online. If you ever have questions or need additional information before making a purchase, I'm more than happy to assist!
1. Return Policy
- If you don't like the product you ordered: Unfortunately, I do not accept returns for products that are simply disliked after purchase. Since the items are produced in small quantity, I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges. This policy ensures that each customer receives a unique, untouched piece that has not been previously worn or altered, maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene. I greatly appreciate your understanding and encourage you to carefully review all product details or contact me if you need more information before purchasing.
- If a product doesn't fit: I ensure that all relevant sizing information is clearly provided in the product description, allowing you to make informed decisions before purchasing. This policy helps maintain the integrity of my embroidery products, which are made with care and precision. Please double-check the sizing details before finalizing your purchase to avoid any inconvenience.
- If a product is damaged during shipping: I do not offer replacements if a product is damaged during shipping because, once the product is handed over to USPS, UPS, or FedEx, the shipping carrier assumes responsibility for the item's safe delivery. I take care to package each product securely, but any issues that arise during transit are beyond my control. I recommend contacting the carrier directly for resolution in case of damage during shipping, as they may be able to assist with compensation or claims through their insurance policies.
- If a product is defective: Due to the hand-manufacturing process of my products, small imperfections can occasionally appear, which is normal since they are not made by machines. However, I take great care to ensure the highest quality by dedicating time and attention to each piece. I personally create prototypes and wear them regularly to ensure that the final product meets the standards and expectations of my customers. This commitment to quality ensures that each item, while unique, is made with precision and care.
2. Non-Delivery of Products
- If a product doesn't arrive: If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact me and the carrier. But please note that once your order has been completed and handed over to USPS/FedEx/UPS, the package is under their responsibility. I unfortunately can't control what happens during the delivery process.
Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, I am no longer responsible for any lost parcels. If your package goes missing, I recommend contacting the carrier directly to inquire about their reimbursement or claims process. I understand how frustrating this can be, and I encourage you to reach out to them for assistance in resolving the issue.
3. Shipping Details
I’ve made the decision to ship only within the contiguous 48 states because I’m trying to be more ecologically responsible. While my approach isn’t perfect yet, limiting my shipping area helps reduce the environmental impact caused by long-distance transportation and the carbon emissions that come with it. Shipping internationally often involves more resources, from extended transit times to additional packaging, which can take a toll on the planet. By focusing on local shipping, I’m taking small but meaningful steps towards being more mindful of my business’s ecological footprint, even though there’s still room for improvement. It’s part of my ongoing effort to balance my passion for creating with a responsibility to care for the environment.- Where do I ship parcels: Alabama; Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; Connecticut; Delaware; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Idaho; Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; Louisiana; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; Michigan; Minnesota; Mississippi; Missouri; Montana; Nebraska; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New Mexico; New York; North Carolina; North Dakota; Ohio; Oklahoma; Oregon; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; South Carolina; South Dakota; Tennessee; Texas; Utah; Vermont; Virginia; Washington; West Virginia; Wisconsin; and Wyoming.
- Is the shipping free?: USPS Ground Advantage shipping is free with your order. However, if you choose another shipping method or provider, the price will vary and be added at checkout. Please note that shipping costs may also vary depending on the destination.
- Do I use tracking numbers?: Yes, all my shipments include tracking to ensure safe delivery.
- Shipping schedule: I ship orders twice per week (on Wednesday mornings and Friday mornings) to balance efficiency and quality control.
- Shipping providers: I use USPS, FedEx and UPS.
- Insurance on shipments: I purchase insurance on orders to safeguard against potential loss or damage during shipping.
4. Exchange and Refund Policy
The items are not exchangeable or refundable:
Due to the handcrafted nature of the jewelry, each piece is made with great care and attention to detail. Since this item is produced in small quantity, I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges. This policy ensures that each customer receives a unique, untouched piece that has not been previously worn or altered, maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene. I greatly appreciate your understanding and encourage you to carefully review all product details or contact me before purchasing.
- I recommend avoiding contact with freshly colored hair, as residual dye may transfer and stain the earrings.
- Please be aware that felt is a material that can naturally catch lint over time. However, it's easy to keep it looking fresh! You can gently remove any lint using tape or a lint roller. Just apply gentle strokes to preserve the quality and texture of the felt.
